I've had it i've fucken had it we hold onto all these prospects and what does it get us? nothing, except empty promises about the future a future, it seems, is destined to repeat itself over and over and fuck you molly knight! this is not the best team money can buy this is the merely most money spent on a bunch of fucken losers actually, apologies molly FUCK YOU GUGGENHEIM!!! at the initial press conference you said, and i quote, "our goal is to win the world series every year" thought we'd forget that, didn't you? if you truly wanted to win we would have had david price pitching yesterday, not some worthless twitter whore speaking of anderson, why do we have all these reclamation projects like him, mehcarthy and wood? i'll tell you why... because this ownership group does not know how to put together a winner i understand wanting to hold onto every top prospect, i really do but sometimes you have to take a chance joc would have probably netted us a top starter to pair with kersh and zack but now that he's been exposed his value is no longer as high seager looks great so far, but so did joc and urias, who knows not saying you necessarily have to trade any of your top prospects, but you should at least be willing to listen but these guggenheim douches are fucken prospect hoarders this offseason (which will be here in about 10 hours), they had better re-sign greinke and add price i don't care if you've already got anderson, wood, mehcarthy and ryu coming back they are all second-tier pitchers at best add them to our fucked up bullpen or dfa them all idgaf part of me doesn't even want to watch tonight we already know what's coming kersh getting shelled our offense sucking balls our clueless manager staring off into space then sitting and waiting for the winter meetings and here's what i see happening... guggenheim overpays dbb to lure him away from miami greinke signs with the giants (price with the cubs, cueto with the cards) we hold onto every prospect acquire no one of any significance miss the postseason and watch the giants hoist yet another trophy i'd say i don't fucken care anymore but that would be a lie
Not getting a third starter really hurt us. It's not like we had a rookie pitcher that we could call up during the season either. Urias is way too raw. I don't know what our game plan is. By the time any of our rookies are ready Kershaw might be on the downswing, Grienke may not even be here, and the "veterans" may be lost....so now we go from a pitching issue and BP issue to an entire team issue. Now THAT is gonna cost some money. And while you can debate the value of the manager (I don't...putting Wood in right after the Anderson fiasco was like pouring Plutonium on a raging chemical fire....and Rollins and Crawford together is just plain stupid), you have to coach up the rookies....fix the holes in their swings....figure out the pitching mechanics that might be hurting our pitching issues. You can't keep Kershaw struggling in the 7th every post season...that's not fair to him. Give him a game plan. What is wrong with Wood? Cmon, the Dodgers are famous for their pitchers....isn't there any pride there? Sorry, just frustrated like you Irish. Been watching too much post season fizz outs....it sucks.
Pressure cookers generate a need to vent... and I don't see so much inaccurate in that rant GG 'could' have secured something better than Latos... IF they WANTED to win. If that truth hurts then change it
unfortunately we've been down this road before chumpy the offense needs to wake up i don't see it happening and, sadly, i see kersh losing a 3-1 type game (worse if the bullpen comes in early) well said cap
Calm down Francis. Yeah it sucks, I get it. But if you have the right prospects and they mature and develop (as is happening with the Cubs) the wait will be worth it. The vets are fading and the young guns have to grow into their roles. Honestly, I see any visit to the WS in the first 5 years of this ownership change as a gift. It's the second 5 years that will be the test. I know all you young bucks say 'fuck that, I want to win now' but if you want to win more than once...let the GG's do it the way it's supposed to be done.
While every word you said rings true, it is still to reason that with their resources GG 'could' have obtained better talent. Particularly with a #3 SP and clutch BP help. In this case they didn't. So it rides on our two horses to do it all. Clayton needs to catch the bullet in his teeth and spit it out. One three days rest. In shutdown style. and being one of the old Koufax Drysdale era Dodger fans I'm good with seeing the results of the first five years and the second five years... but dammit son IT"S TIME TO STEP THE FUCK UP Now. This at bat. And I personally feel that someone other than DBB should step up and tell these fucks that they need to look around because this is the last time they DESERVE to wear Dodger blue if they can't get it done when it's TIME TO GET IT DONE.
Kershaw can exercise a ton of demons tonight if he pushes this to a game 5. I'm still holding out hope until out 27 is made. He's a 300 million dollar pitcher and tonight he has to prove it. Hopefully the guys playing on the team have more faith than us fans because most times it sure doesn't look that way.
Next year our staff will be Kershaw, Greinke, Price, Anderson, Ryu. AJ Ellis will be gone and we will sign Matt Wieters long term and gamble he makes a comeback while sharing time with Grandal. Chris Davis, Darren O'Day and Buck Showalter join the Dodgers alongside Wieters. Adrian Gonzales, Carl Crawford, Scott Van Slyke, and Alex Woods join the Orioles. Puig, Seger, and Joc will become solid players like they have shown to be, even if not superstars everyday.
So we just traded Gonzalez, nothing important (Crawford), SVS, and Wood for a manager and relief pitcher? (Chris Davis and Weiters are FA's). the fuck are you smoking?
Ok screw it we get Manny Machado too then. They get Alex Guerrero and Zach Lee. And they get two top picks for us signing Davis and Wieters.
