Its a relief to hear someone, that stupidly rich, admit their competence isn't all encompassing... Now why is Ned still on board?

Only what I heard him say on the radio so take that with a grain of salt. Ned being a current GM and Stan being a former one so it could just be a working relationship but I cannot be sure.
The difference between Coffey and Grabow is that Coffey is a gamer. Dude's got some mad swag with the red hair.
From a functional perspective the biggest difference between Coffey and Grabow is that Grabow is a lefty and with him cut we will only have one in the pen.
I am NOT defending Colletti but consider this: think about the FAs we have acquired as of late. Do you really think that Colletti would have targeted Uribe as a source of power had he had the purse strings to look elsewhere? I think he is a shitty GM. He is in love with exgnats and utility guys who are past their prime. However, if Kasten is running the show, he is going to send Ned out looking for big fish. AND, for the record, I would rather have Cain than Cole. It would be a dagger to Gnat fans who do not appreciate him anyway and he would make one hell of a number 2.
Colletti is a great PR guy. if you hear him on the radio, the things he says, he's likable, although still don't want him as a GM. keep him in PR and move him away from the main job of being GM.
