I always say, when the bank comes to throw me out, I'll take me dag, my wife's ashes, and my Duke Snider signed baseball.
I did meet him at a book signing at a Barnes and Noble in Secaucus, NJ. It struck me how big and straight he stood, and how clear his eyes were. I thought of many clever things to say to him while on line, and when I got up to the signing table, I became overwhelmed with emotion, and all I could muster was "thanks for the memories, Duke".
We had really good seats near the Dodger dugout for one of my first trips to Dodger Stadium. Late in the game who pops out of the dugout and into the on deck circle but the Duke. I just soaked in his greatness. Didn't experience a similar feeling until many years later when we had second row tickets to a John Lee Hooker concert.
just realized some of you younger guys might not recognize this one and if you think the crowds are light now @THINKBLUE...
hoping we win tonight but the giants do too then we get a huge lead tomorrow while the giants get blown out clinching on vin's last home date would be epic
I want the Giants to fall out of the wildcard spot. Plus it goes against my very fiber to hope they win. Ever.

My favorites are JP Moro(n)si and CJ Nikowski picking Arizona ahead of us. Oh, and Aaron Boon taking the Twins for the AL Central.
