What would happen if we went up 3-0 if Blanton didn't give up the slam? Would we win in 4 or would the Cubs '04 Red Sox us? I still firmly believe that had we pitched Kershaw in game 5, there would have at least be a Game 7 with Hill on the mound.
Could you explain what or who your avatar is? A photoshop of Kershaw? Or something completely different? Cirious...
I know it's all over and blah, blah...but I reread your post here and yeah...fucking fatass Blanton. Two fucking useless pitches, with absolutely no chance of being anything other than crushed. Grew tired very quickly of the " he's gassed" bs...if he was so gassed, he shouldn't have been on the roster.
It's a joke on the internet. The Crying Jordan meme. Anytime a team loses in the playoffs, they add it to the teams logo. Michael Jordan is a legendary basketball player who cried during his HoF speech.
i understand the blanton hate guy absolutely tanked at two of the worst/most crucial times that said, no way we even get to the lcs without his contributions... Jack Clark and Matt Stairs like this.
agreed and i like blanton [no homo] but if a guy fails to do his job when he's needed most then he can't be trusted
I think there is a stat where he does better on short rest than he does with regular rest. I just think kershaw at home would have given us an advantage. Just a gut feeling that saving him for game 6 was a mistake.
i don't know wtf that Tmobile commercial is on about but no way i'm voting for some dude in a wedding dress
I don't. Like you said, then don't there without him. He's still growing into his bullpen after years of starting. He'll be a valuable piece going forward as a middle inning guy, not the primary setup man.
1-0 game with the wind blowing and Tomlin going for the Tribe. Would have bet the farm on the over (whatever it was). And today I would have no farm.
