#TakeFlyte@flytewatch 3m3 minutes ago Early into his G League career, 19 year old Isaac Bonga had 25 points yesterday leading the Baby Lakers to their second win. Per game, he's averaging 17 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists
I don't think you'll have to worry about it, KD doesn't seem like he could handle the pressure of the Lakers. Even if he wants to join the club, I am not so sure Magic will view him as the top choice.
whatever happened to just building a team through the draft and one or two signings? superteams are so fucking boring
hasn't been the league way for a long time but kobe and fish were ours along w eddie jones and van exel i know thats not exactly recent its just not as much fun for me to watch if theres a crowd of highly paid superstars chucking 3s and going one on one i miss the passing and posting stuff just like baseball i guess its all gotta change oh well
Think again. I don't think they accidentally gave themselves 38.2MM in cap space, Durant's starting salary. If and when Durant joins, he'll be welcomed by enough LAL fans to feel comfortable and the league can thank themselves because if they never leave Seattle, he's probably still a Sonic.
I think the Warriors fit this mold, Durant and Iggy are the two prominent signings I can think of, with Steph, Klay, and Dramond all being drafted. And they won without Durant, they were super without him. If we signed Durant/Kawhi/Klay that would only be two FA signings. When the best player in the game chooses your team you kinda have to throw the build through the draft mentality out the window, especially with him being in his 16th season.
Wall is just a despicable professional. I know that if I know enough about this guy, that league execs know far more. I've seen this guy in Vegas, at least 3 separate occasions, chugging a bottle of Hen in the club. Lol What you've heard about Wall's habits are real. He has an alcohol problem, some around him have said the same. And it makes sense..why he comes into the preseason/season overweight so often. I would be shocked if the Wiz were able to get one over on a team and actually move Wall before his new contract even kicks in. Now, I imagine we'll hear some fake fuckery regarding the Lakers and Wall because the Lakers don't mind Rich Paul using them to stir up some interest. I do expect that much.
Dude has a supermax with a trade kicker and some additional contingencies for raises if the cap goes up. If you trade for Wall, you might be paying him $50M/year. No thanks.
