Great post. ^^^^^ There's thousands out there just waiting to be rescued and go to a good person. The rewards are way more than any trouble you may have, and you will always cherish the days you were together. I guarantee it. If you never have had one, a dog will teach you things about life you haven't experienced before . I could never have one as a kid. Got my first one when I got married at 22. Do it, boyo...
Just remember BDK, if you do get one ( all we all hope you do), people. will think you're a redneck if you and your dog use the same tree to pee on...
My biggest fear is the time it would take to be a proper owner to the dog because of how selfish a human I am in this stage of my life. Last dog I had was maybe 20 years to 25 years ago, when I was just a young pup.
It is a commitment, and for them to really be happy, they need to be part of the family and be with you most of the time. But once you bond, you'll want them with you all the time anyway.
that's exactly how mine are my room has a walk through screen and the beds on the floor dyson animal is my friend
The next dog I get is going to be a pampered gay ass indoor dog like all of yours. No more killers that want to bite and/or fuck everything that moves. I was supposed to get this incredibly pampered bitch yesterday but family members are having a hard time letting go of her. Everyone wants to take her out for a few last walks at the park before she goes. They take this dog to the pampering place every two weeks. She eats premium organic expensive dog food that costs more than what i eat. And she gets new toys to destroy every week,. Plus she has an air fryer just for her chicken breast snacks. I dont even have an air fryer! Much less chicken breast snacks.
