Awesome stat and a tribute to their twisted infatuation with damaged goods. Most player days on the DL so far this season: Nerd crew 504 A'a 406 Rockies 393 Brewers 372 Reds 371 Almost a fucking hundred more days than second place, and before June? Not really surprised considering.... Now, how about adding up all the wasted salaries and compare that number to what the PROVEN players are out there making while they actually play and win games? Dont forget to add in the nearly 50MM they pissed away for the privilege of having Grandal, Hatcher and Wood around with their MVP-like stats. FUCKTARDS. Oh yeah, the future... PS, Keep the "Injuries are part of the game" arguments to yourselves bc they went looking for glassmade players with gusto. Enough of this shit. Im going upstairs to my Brazilian wife.
^^^^^ You're dangerously close to rehash territory here. Lol. Actually, not really...the depth of Nerd grading subjects is a bottomless pit...always someting new. Hey, is that Billy B. in second place?
LOL... Conspicuously absent from the list is Tampa Bay, since "someone" left there for (his own) greener pa$tures......
So..who do you think will be taking credit for the young stars who are being called up? Think it will be the guys who brought them here down in SD or the stat hacks who lucked into them? Dont believe the hype. If you are honest with yourselves you will know that youve all seen this before. Carry on...
IMO, best person to give praise to for some of them is the ownership who came in and did heavy funding and focus for international signings and for the draft as well, revitalized the scouting department, not to mention the hard focus from up top to not trade the elite specs It's obviously not a simple answer since there's many moving parts but if you want praise for one simple group, it's that.
So just to get it straight you're saying the guys who brought them here shouldn't get the credit but rather the guys who were lucky enough to have them at their disposal?
I think what he's getting at there is that, excluding Joc, ultimately Stan Kasten was at the head of the table for these additions. Puig, '12 Corey, '12 Urias, '12 De Leon, '13 Bellinger, '13 Verdugo, '14 Holmes, '14 Diaz, '15 Alvarez, '15 Esteves, '15 These Top 100 talents were added under the GG umbrella, possibly about to buy Lazarito and Jose Miguel Fernandez in a couple weeks as well.
