It's unfortunate that you seem to have no doubt that Ryu and/or Nolasco will lose their starts....like it's done already. There's still a game to play.

The Bizarro TB that lives in St.Lo named TR was saying the same thing about Kelly vs. Greinke. He said the Cards had no chance. TR was wrong.
WE've beaten the Cards in the recent past post season...we swept them. Condition that. :smh:

    from jayson stark/espn...
    • On Friday, the Cardinals struck out 10 times and scored twice in eight innings against Dodgers starter Zack (Cy) Greinke -- and won. Somehow. In 13 incredible innings.
    • Then, on Saturday, the Cardinals got exactly two hits in six innings against Dodgers starter Clayton (Cy) Kershaw, scored one run (and zero earned runs) this time -- and won again. Somehow.

    Two schools of thought.
1)We are pathetic for losing those games.
2)Those games were so close and we were on the road. We should do better at home and win those games.

I'm with #1 because those games were close but those were our best pitchers and we have to face Wainright in this next game.

We've played like complete shit both games and only lost by 1 run. We got this if we can play better!

But our pitchers were as good as can be.

Wainwright will give up 1 run max in game 3. Ryu will have to pitch the game of his life on Monday.

oh...hey...looks like Hanley has cracked ribs.

so yeh, we're pretty much getting punked by the Cardinals.

" Dodgers and Cardinals agree that Ellis was tagged at home "
" Dodgers and Cardinals agree that Kelly wasn't beaning Hanley "

well, i don't know about you, but i'm tired of the Dodgers being some damn agreeable with the Cardinals. fuck them.

Hit Molina in the ribs with the intent to crack them and hurt the Cards WS chances.

The plan....Ryu hits Beltran, and when Wainright retaliates, the umps throw him out.

Totally agree with putting one in Molina's ear. Better yet, drill that cunt Wainwright. Aw, who the fuck am I kidding? Mattingly doesn't have the balls to order such an edict. Baseball 101 boys. We can only hope Ryu takes matters into his own hands. At least we know McGwire will have his back.

Jose Abreu on the verge of signing a 68 Mil Deal. Not sure of team yet, but it looks like the White Sox.

Not shocking, this guys number are beyond mind blowing. I cannot wait to see what he does in the bigs.

Kinda wish Guerrero was more like him in terms of signing a fucking deal already.

I know it's like 99.99% unlikely that we sign Jose Abreu but if we did, it would be beyond hilarious to read all the butt hurt comments from fans of other teams.

I'm surprised the Rangers didn't sign him. They could have easily if they wanted to, IMO. Maybe they don't think his production in Cuba is going to translate in the MLB.

    EDIT: HOLY SHIT.

In 2009-2010, Abreu had his best year yet, hitting .399/.555/.822 with 82 runs, 30 homers, 76 RBI and 74 walks to 49 strikeouts in 89 games

Abreu continued to improve in 2010-11 Cuban National Series with one of the greatest seasons in Cuban history. He hit .453/.597/.986 with 79 runs, 93 RBI and 33 home runs in only 66 games.

    WOW.

Sounds like Abreu has some big time flaws in his swing, but his power is unreal. Should be interesting to see how he does in ChitTown. I am also shocked that Texas didn't go after him as 1B has been a big weakness for them.
