Roberts takes tonight's loss. Turner 2, Howie cleanup, Crawford on the field. Terrible.

Can't say I wasn't a bit giddy seeing that G'Nat fuck go out. Now Posey needs to make a new rule!

Bolsinger takes the "L" on the chin after throwing a 5 inning 2H and giving up a 2 run pop in the third.

Dodger offense last seen southbound on a Mexicali bus with a flat tire and a leaky radiator

Wow. You are a thinker sir Ruby but I don't think a team wants Ryan bruan. He cheated the game. He should not even be part of baseball. He's a disgrace to the game.

    Where is ethier?

Probably will, he and Belt have largely powered them this season.
Posey hasn't been as Posey this year, sitting on about a .780OPS last time I saw, but perhaps he'll step his game up now.
A lot of average guys over there, which has been enough to get them a division lead over these atrocities over here.
If the bums over here can ever just be average..just get to a .730 OPS it could make a world of difference.

Wish Urias could have gotten a home start vs the lowly Braves as opposed to another road start vs a contender.

I agree. Roads starts against the Mets and Cubs is a tough draw for your first two games in the bigs. On the positive side, the team isn't treating Urias with kid gloves, and that bodes well for how they feel about him. Still, it'd be nice to see him in a matchup he could potentially dominate. Who knows, maybe he'll shutdown the Cubs today...

and... "IF" he does shut down the Cubs then his confidence skyrockets

so that when he does face the Braves.. Angels..Padres and other cellar dwellers then he should feel great about rocking them.

I actually like the move to send him down and then call him right back up.

Give the kid another chance and watch that 10.13 ERA drop ( )

Urias has been beaten up in his first couple of starts at every level and has bounced back just fine. He is a tough kid and I would not worry about him getting rattled.

Another game with no Puig, but hey, more fucking Crawford. Also, another game without Grandal. Not a good sign since it is not like Ellis is any good either right now. If Grandal is hurt, they need to bring up Barnes to start.

CC hurt Puig so he wouldn't be DFA'd this weekend with Van Slyke back

Anybody still hitting .230 or less in June needs to visit the DL or AAA

too many damned years wasted putting up with AJ Ellis hitting .196 with sloppy hands and yet still being a starter
