    Nice!

Wish I could camp in front of the TV with a meatball sub (no homo) right now. S*** is going down.

Asta loego (racist) Puig! It's been real...real depressing.

Quality players sent out and recieved. More than anything this tells me the team expects CK to be back in time to make a significant contribution.

At first I was very frustrating with giving up Holmes/Montas for rentals (Cotton I don't really care much about) but I've come around to accept it. I wasn't super high n Holmes myself, he's still young but he's been pretty blah in Rancho, of course a lot of 20 year olds are. And he had a lot of value of course. Montas I'm gonna miss most I think, thought he had a chance to stick in the rotation or at least be an elite reliever, fuck.

Hill has been absolutely elite starter this season, but of course their is a ton of concerns about health and will him being elite hold up all season? It's worth a chance and please be healthy. Reddick is a solid ballplayer, plays solid defense + good arm and mashes RHP, unfortunately he's a basically a platoon player, which is a common them with this team. Pray he wrecks RHP as usual and SVS/Kikee pick it up vs LHP. Solid player though.

Giving up a lot for rentals, make another move! If we're going for it, let's go for it!

People who dont know think that missing the cutoff man is a bad thing.
Its only a bad thing if you cant throw. Thats why they invented the cutoff man.
If you can make the throw all the way home you dont need the cutoff man.
So Puig is not 'missing' the cutoff man at all, the cutoff man is not in his plans.

Right. I suppose if we acquire someone from the rays it could be suspect on CKs behalf. But i have a hard time believing nerdpower would go after rental types without confidence that CK is returning. Just don't think they would go for it with a seriously handicapped team. We also are playing our best ball without him. The next 60 min will tell a lot.

Exactly but it doesn't look like we will be having to defend him in a Dodger uniform for long which is sad.

Since both are rentals and we gave up solid pitching prospects I'm not so sure that we came out ahead in this trade. I do like Reddick but the rental angle is distressing

Far as I know only Chapman has gone on record as saying he wants to be a free agent. Plenty of time to find out. I know Hill was talking extension in Oakland so who knows. Wait and see and hope. The good thing about our farm is that we have many pitching prospects left. Alvarez, Sborz, De Jong, JDL, and Julio who are arguably having better seasons than Holmes and Cotton. Very very small sample size this year on Montas obviously.

Yeah I thought that Cotton was a possible next Chapman but it hasn't happened ... yet

Hill is perfect because he doesnt block any future prospects being that he is 36.
Now if we can only finish things off and grab Danny Valencia and Sean Doolittle from the A's we would be set.
    Valencia mashes against lefties.
And if we can get their catcher Vogt to backup Grandal we would really be set and no longer need to see AJ out there.

That was dirty, man, never like seeing that for Juan, but he's sucked for sure.
They don't give a damn about his clubhouse lovability and neither did LAD, they're trying to win...had to do it
