Montas, Hill, and Holmes. Steep I guess but, to be expected. Hope they are confident Hill can return but, Reddick is a fantastic bat against righties. Bet they move Puig for prospects now
Honestly I like the deal but a lot depends on when Hill can come back. They were able to pay a lower price for Hill and I really think Reddick is fucking good. Great hitter against righties and that's really important
Not sure about the word steep. Jharel hasn't adjusted to AAA yet, not even sure if Montas can pitch at all given the rib issues. Holmes is a bit of a loss but he's still in A ball.
Reddick has the same wRC+ against righties as Josh Donaldson this year, a top 10-15 hitter against righties
Not a steal of a trade but I just love the players we got. Have plenty of middle rotation or back end types, and they got the guy with some of the best upside. It's high risk, cause Hill could pitch zero innings, but you gotta take some risk to get better
You don't hear a lot about pitchers and blisters anymore or at least I haven't. Infinitely easier to recover from that as opposed to an injury to the core.
i like this deal a lot yeah, not a blockbuster but we improved the team, and we didn't have to give up julio, deleon, bellinger and verdugo so stoked we didn't go after that overrated, defensively-challenged, meat sack bruce +1 nerds
Hill hasn't given up more than 3 ER in any start this season and he only gave up 3ER in two starts. Pretty impressive.
Maybe because his arm is bad? CC or JP bad? If trading Yasiel gets us a real good player in return, you changing your mind? What am I saying that answer will be no for a majority here lol.
YouTube full of highlight footage of Reddick gunning runners down, robbing HRs, and smashing HRs. Dude is really good and his arm is more than that.
