    Good for Cody

    @JeffPassan
    BREAKING: Centerfielder Cody Bellinger and the Chicago Cubs are in agreement on a three-year, $80 million contract, sources tell ESPN. Bellinger will receive opt-outs after each of the first two years of the deal. Bellinger, 28, returns to the Cubs after a prolonged free agency.

    A couple of nice home runs for the dodgers today. Want to watch replay but Outman and Muncy going yard might be a good sign. Brasier also struck out the side. I just hope we see better results than yesterday from Glasnow. Got find the Max HR on web. Both were against lefties to add to good news

    So glad we got Brasier back on the roster. Imagine if Treinen returns to form and Bru pitches as well as last year, with Phillips closing and Yarbrough eating some innings and Mariachi Joe doing his thing. Maybe Hudson can stay healthy and cobble together one more good season. This could be a very good pen. Only question is who are the lefty specialists? Vesia is not the answer.

    Vesia was much better in the second half after a rough start. Read something recently about Dodger RH relievers against LH hitters. Numbers were very good. Not sure they need the traditional lefty specialist.

    Get back SS Noah Miller…36th pick in the 2021 draft. Dodgers saw Margot go 0/10 in ST and said get the fuck out of here

    @FabianArdaya Dodgers close to bringing back Kiké Hernández assuming the Manuel Margot deal goes through, sources tell me and @Ken_Rosenthal.

    Kike really wanted to be back in LA so this feels right and Margot never looked like a fit.

    Not loving bringing Kike back as I think he's a liability at the plate, but I know he bleeds blue and versatility is always a good thing to have, as well as a solid clubhouse guy. And I'd gladly take him over Margot. I just don't like Roberts' need to play everyone on the roster like this is Little League. If it were me, Kike would keep the end of the bench warm except for the OCCASIONAL rest day for a starter, or to serve as a bandaid if someone's on the shelf for a week or two.

    I'm hopeful he can bounce back offensively. A full season with our coaching staff may help him on that front.

    Either way, he should only be getting like 90% of his AB's against lefties and I don't want to ever see him play the left side of the infield. Needs to be OF only like Margot would have been and occasionally at 2b.

    Actually, Kike is a notoriously fast starter. If that happens, Dodgers should parlay him into a decent prospect.

    That's not going to happen, but just my thinking.

    I was a little surprised by this as also. I know Caleb was a up and down last year but he has been real good.

    I was going to say I hope he doesn't homer because I hate seeing people overreact to ST success, but too late for that.
