    I would really like to see Max Muncy by the leadoff hitter.
    He would get a walk a third of the time, the other third he would get an out and when he gets a hit half of them are for extra bases and most of those are home runs.
    Thats a great way to start the game.
    Would get him maximum amount of at bats. If we get Manny Machado he would be a great guy to hit second.
    If the Dodgers could somehow grab Wilson Ramos from their buddies in Tampa the lineup would be set because Grandal tends to be great the first half of the season but then fatigues or something and starts to fade for long stretches and his hot streaks get fewer and his dry spells get longer. Barnes cant be trusted.
    The ideal situation would be a starting catcher like Ramons and someone from the farm system like Kyle Farmer as the backup.

    And since I like making future lineups lets have Corey Seager have a miraculous early comeback for the postseason.

    1B: Bellinger/Seager
    C : Ramos/Farmer

    The O has been pretty anemic of late and your observations on Yas are spot on, and "Broad Side" Barnes ( couldn't hit the...) has rendered himself just a body that straps on C gear...I can't see why at least Farmer doesn't get some sort of shot.
    The late ASG break dictates that the rest of the season will be a mad dash, no time to work out this player and that one at positions. We need as much firepower as we can get. Giveaway ABs like Yas, and deer in the headlights Ks, like Barnes' specialty, is bullshit.
    Or give a kid a shot.
    It's a good thing for us, that so far, the NLW sucks...so we stay on top. That no longer may be true post ASG. A team who catches fire ( like the scumbo Giants, for instance), could put distance between them and the rest of the pack.
    We have to be the ones who do it...

    .000001%. I'm tired of him and his high leverage futility as well, but I have a hard time seeing them acquiring a catcher at the deadline. That is more of a backup at the waiver deadline type thing, imo. For as shitty as Grandal has been since that torrid hot start, he is still rated as one of the top catchers in the game thanks to his framing skills. I do wish Roberts would start batting Grandal in the 7-8 spot and keep him there.

    I was at the game last night and there was a buzz throughout the crowd. Buehler looked very good at time and velocity was pretty consistent and topped out a 97. Didn't like that Calhoun hit 2 HR's off of him but he did hold down Trout except for the hit. I was getting frustrated with the other weak ass hits they got. Logan was huge late not only with the single but the play on the outfield grass and the amazing accurate throw while spinning. His throw was scary on the game ending double play but the runner put his hands up. The bigger frustration was my friends and I were trying Uber to the stadium for the 1st time, getting there was very smooth but leaving was a bitch! They put you in an enclosed area like cattle as we all request the car but since it was a sell out there were hundreds waiting. Drivers waiting while we all looking or calling our drivers, it was a mess. NEVER again.

    EDIT: Decent fireworks show.

    Not real comfortable with Toles in CF (or anywhere else in the OF for that matter). Looks very uncertain out there.
