I'm being positive and thinking (hoping) that that series took everything out of them and they are tired after not having a day off in weeks. Hope the cubs series is much better

sure hope the new guys can give us a lift because at this moment i like the dback and giants chances better than ours. that series had less passion than a worn out whore.

    Hanley: 0 for the series
    Ethier: I don't even know.
    Rivera: Nothing
    AJ: Nothing
    Leadoff hitters: Nothing

    A collective pile of shit.

Oh yeah, and the pitching and defense were sloppy.

they were talking about guys not being dressed and ready on the bench. lounging around shit like that. i like dbb's style but as they were saying, if someones not upset about that series somethings wrong. that fire has to come from somewhere.

I don't want to ...uh...over react, or anything...but we pretty much suck, I would say. Crushed.
Sweeps are one thing, but getting beaten in every aspect of the game is another. And that cranky old bastard Gibson laughs the fucking loudest. That hurts the most. And all the new guys sucked... maybe that hurts more. And now Kemp is a singles hitter for a spell I guess...and Ethier is "overmatched" by a rookie Vin says...and Ramirez is, uh...still a .240 hitter.
It's pretty bad when the announcer, because the Dodger offense is so lame, makes a mantra of saying"he did hit the ball hard though". LOL. How fucking bad is a team when 'hitting the ball hard' is the major accomplishment of the day.
One hit from a position player, and whipped by a 23 year old rookie. As if we didn't know.
I still have to find out why we needed League, the 0-5 guy with meh stats. I understand Choate, LH .
And I'm still wondering about Johnson's 7 RBIs and .285 BA. And power. Probably never even crossed anybodys' mind while blinded by Ramirez' bright light.
I'm wondering , even after all the promises of rampant Ned cock sucking, if he still didn't pull a typical "Ned" with these guys.
It's possible, you know. Please, no...not again.
I know...Hanley won the batting title. So did Freddie Sanchez , didn't he? Where is he now? DL? and Pendleton one year...and what happened to him....IDK. And Derek Lee, right? Is he still in baseball? And....never mind.
And Hanley hit 33 HRs one year, right? So did that guy Andre Ethier, I think. My point is, he could now be just an average player. It happens. I sure hope it ain't that way...but it happens. To position players, pitchers.
We got a good look at the 3 teams in it over the last week. To me, as I see it, even with the pitching on the Giants, the DBacks have the best all-around team. Power everywhere, by far the best lineup. Putz is very solid. If Kubel wasn't slumping, what the hell would have happened that didn't already?
They look very ready for a run at it, and I don't think we , or those other fags in first place, can do shit about it. Please AZ, collapse like we did.
OR,,,we really suck that fucking much. Either way, things lookin' pretty blue, in more ways than one.
As my idol and mentor, HoF manager, Joe Torre said...."it's not where you are in April and May in the standings, it's where you are on the last day of the season".
