how angry are we if that call goes against us? one of the worst calls i've ever seen in a world series tbh, outside of reggies hip swivel :dickwalk: i love that smiley
I thought it was a great call. Seeing peavy and the rest of those bearded fuckwits crying was fun. Besides he scores easy without the trip. My only joy this series is watching teams lose.
It's the right call but it's a stupid rule. I could see if he was blatantly in the baseline but he was off to the side of the base path. Fucking cardinals are the luckiest team in baseball.
It's a bad rule but not the worst call. It was the right call. Obstruction calls are like catchers interference. You don't mean to do it, but regardless of intent, it's gonna get called the majority of the time.
Right call I guess. But you best believe I'm killing something if that call costs us a World Series game. God I hate the fucking cards.
guess it doesn't matter if there was intent or not. everyone saying the umps got it right according to the rule book.
Joel Sherman of the New York Post reports that the Padres recently completed their organizational meetings and feel that they will retain Chase Headley rather than trade him prior to his walk year. While they will still listen to offer on their switch-hitting third baseman, a trade doesn't seem likely. um, yeah asshat... it's called posturing :skip:
all ready for the big moment w beltran at the plate and DOH! what a stupid fool! he should have been standing ON the base trying to open a hole and never even thinking about moving until the ball was hit w two outs. even though i don't give a shit who wins this it would have been nice to see beltran hit there.
