    The Red Sox didn't look much better against him than we did. Only difference was a cheap homer from Papi.

    If there's one thing the Red Sox and Cardinals have taught me, is that white guys might be disappearing from most major U.S. sports, but they can still play baseball. These two teams are dominated by white guys! Something the Dodgers are getting away from...we'll just keep looking in all the other countries for talent instead, I hope it works.

    wow ok racist.

    I heard he's starting game 3.

    I agree with Ford. He's been on something since '03.

    Surely you jest... if he was really on something then ole' Bud Selig would have caught him by now and made another A-Roid example out of him...

    I thought I could watch this series as a fan of baseball, but I just can't watch the rest of this series. I keep thinking about us losing to St. Louis, and it hurts because I thought it was our year. Losing game 1 and 2 by 1 run each in low scoring affairs with Hanley in a lot of pain will always make me wonder. Want a WS so damn bad for the Dodgers that I'm just going to ignore the WS. I think Boston still wins, but St. Louis has a horseshoe up their asses so who knows what happens.

    It's ok I can't watch this crap either for all the reasons you listed but also because I hate American League baseball and can't watch a game with a DH. If the NL ever does that I will stop watching baseball altogether.

    Do I win the longest sentence trophy?

    lol fags :giants::kickgiants:
    maybe they need ned back... :giggle:
    • The Giants might have interest in Brian McCann as a lefty power source, reports CBS Sports' Jon Heyman. That possibility would, as Heyman notes, be a little strange, since the Giants have one of baseball's best catchers in Buster Posey, and also a very good first baseman in Brandon Belt. A source close to the Giants tells Heyman that "it may depend on how much playing time McCann seeks," which is also somewhat odd, since it's not as if McCann is a borderline starter, or bench fodder. Other clubs surely view McCann as a starter and will be willing to pay him as such.

    Uggla could be a difficult player to move due to declining skills and a big contract.

    The Atlanta Braves are willing to trade Dan Uggla this offseason and will shop him to other teams, reports Joe Frisaro of MLB.com.

    Moving Uggla could be a chore for the Braves, however. He is still owed $26 million over the next two years, a hefty price tag for a player whose skills appear to be rapidly declining. If Atlanta were to make a deal, they would either have to pick up a significant portion of his contract or include a good prospect.

    Acquired in a trade with the Marlins prior to the 2011 season, Uggla hit a career-high 36 home runs in his first year with the team, but also posted a 764 OPS. That was the first time in his career his OPS dipped below 800 for a full season. His power numbers dropped off in 2012, but he led the league with 94 walks en route to a .348 OBP.

    Uggla's 2013 campaign was his worst yet. He hit just .179 with a 671 OPS. Though he hit 22 home runs, he rarely picked up any other extra base hits. His season culminated with the Braves leaving him off their playoff roster as they lost to the Dodgers in the NLDS.

    There have been rumors that the Braves could look to swap second basemen with the Reds, who are rumored to be seeking a deal to send away Brandon Phillips.

    It's shaping up to be an interesting trade market for second basemen with big contracts. Both Phillips and Uggla will be shopped, and there have been rumors that the Brewers could look to trade Rickie Weeks as well.
