The hard fought just completed series, combined with the insanity of playing at Coors, with the exhaustion that comes with it to the pen, may prove a huge mountain for the team to get over. You never know, depending on many factors ( starting pitching, especially), but the SD series would seem to be one of the most important to date. Also, Caleb Ferguson doesn't seem to happy about the continuing " miscommunication " between him and the team's med staff pertaining to his injury.
I get it...but can't go full Sweeney if you're completely shut down. I hope this talented kid doesn't wind up on the Giants or some shit.
Guess no one is into nthis game, but I was hesitant to write, it's certainly not an afterthought situation. These guys are making Anderson look pretty fucking hittable, and Kuhl is going through the first six anyway, like a hot knife through butter. Overall, looks like shit.
mom's into it she knows the altitude can make a pitchers stuff less effective team will need to actually score to pull this one out
Is there a specific and valid reason why the Dodgers are going 100% against their normal successful strategy ? It's incredible. Swing asap.
honestly i'm surprised at you dave knows he can't sweep here so let's move on to the next game and slap some men's asses
That swing at the outside and low pitch that Bellinger whiffs on almost every time is sooo lame, man. He does nothing with it, ever. I remember once he shot one through the hole on the left. Once.
Yeah...imo, when the Dodgers suck offensively at the beginnings of games, which they have more often than not this season, equates to they're not super great against starting pitching. But they get pitch counts up there, and have success against RPs when they have to come in. Well that ain't happening tonight, as they are failing miserably at working the count, and this guy Kuhl, with full Dodger cooperation, is going to be around late..real late. From probably the best win of the year against a team as good as they are, to a limp shadow of themselves against one of the worst. Yup, your LA Dodgers !
This offense is something else @BlakeHarrisTBLA Chad Kuhl had an ERA of 6.91 over his last 3 starts. 5.59 ERA over his last 8 starts.
or drop a bunt like he did in the beginning of his career for hits its like you said someone decided the game plan would be to come out and attack an average pitcher w mediocre stuff and stick w it no matter what has dave written all over it too bad no one in Dodgerland will ever ask questions like that even though king has no clothes more defense of his win percentage and pennants w no championship oh and now its all the injuries because how could you get by w the remaining talent like he is?
For me the most frustrating player Dodger in years. Does just enough offensively to tease you, but wastes so many ABs. Compounds it last night by dogging on the leadoff single. Cost Anderson a run. Not that would have mattered.
