    Glad we get to see that Hudson sucks in a game like this. Should be relegated to mop up and he, along with Chargois and Goedel, are auditioning for roles cause I’ll bet we get at least 1 reliever by Tuesday

    Great win. Really excited that Hill seems to be back. Kershaw-Maeda-Hill with a 4th starter of whoever is best between Stripling/Buehler/Ryu really, really could work.

    Yeah, Hill's starts are always a function of 'is it a blister day or not?' and then "if" he's on then he's 70-80% 'spot on' and he's strong and fun to watch curving balls all over the place.

    Until his wussy fingers give up yet again.




    Dodgers were smart they'd make him work fields on off days. Picking crops, wielding hoes* and shovels will toughen your fingers in a hurry.

    Yes it was basically like oh that's a win!! Kersh used to miss bats on a consistent basis and it seems to me that nearly every pitch is fouled off these days. I hope he sees that he's lucky to have this contract and doesn't opt out after the season.

    was thinking the same thing just the other day
    also remember cherishing his prime and trying not to take it for granted
    i still think kersh at 75% of his former self is still better than most teams #2's (and possibly some #1's)
    hoping he can channel his inner maddux and still be effective for years to come
    but yeah, was an exciting time
    and like koufax/drysdale etc... i feel lucky to have watched them
