i said this shortly after taylor's hr not exactly nostradamus type shit... pretty predictable actually
I'm rarely surprised when our offense shits the bed on the road and for some fucked up reason against these Giants this year. Can't explain it, can't alibi it just have to put this travesty out of my mind and hope Clayton comes through to avoid an even more humiliating loss!!!!!!! On the good side obviously a great job by Rich Hill and from reports that I have read, there was no blister problem THIS TIME.
This year? C'mon, man...we bend over for these guys every year. It seems like the only recourse we have as fans is to curse at them and tell them to eat genitalia in various forms...we sure can't play baseball with them.
Well, once again, it's up to Clayton to salvage at least some kind of self respect and avoid a sweep. Even if he holds them to his ERA, the Dodgers might not score enough to win. Of course, CK looking a little more human this year, and the Dodgers right back to following their true path of overall mini scoring team wise, it may not be so ordained. At least Hill had some semblance of being back to capable, but maybe too much to expect him to go longer just off the much visited DL at this point. Who knows what to expect from this team? I certainly know what not to expect though. Got plenty to base that on.
Hill's control wasn't the sharpest, but he didn't walk anyone and he had to battle through a handful of bloop hits. All in all, a good start for him. Nice to see Taylor break out of his mini slump the past two games.
Today's challenge: try to guess Dave Roberts lineup! I used a random number generator to pick my lineup. I figure a random lineup is more likely to match than something with actual thought behind it...
