Bullpens are fickle in general, so I understand why the front office is hesitant to invest much in it. But I think we have a problem here. this Bullpen has been crap so far
He meant "bad break". He can't say "the Giants caught a bad break because DSP posters say Kershaw sucks now", can he?
What a difference a week makes for Joc. Last week I told yall that things were about to change. Juts like last year we flipped the switch at the end of April when some veterans got injured and new guys got their shot. Hopefully Verdugo shows enough to make Puig not needed so he can rest his ailments. Puig is awesome defensively and has been hitting the ball well all year but has just run into a ton of bad luck. Puig will make an awesome defensive replacement later on in the season. Which means Verdugo proves himself. Turner is coming soon. Buehler and Ryu have been solid. Alex Wood is finding his groove. Seager has been hitting much better the past few weeks. Hill can learn to become a relief pitcher to help this team the way Maeda does in the offseason. Utley and Kike form a really nice combo at 2B due to their grit, excitement, and drive. 2B: Taylor SS: Seager 3B: Turner 1B: Bellinger LF: Kemp RF: Verdugo C : Grandal/Barnes CF: Joc/Kike Starters: Kershaw, Buehler, Wood, Ryu Bullpen: Jansen, Maeda, Hill, Urias, Cingrani, Fields, Liberatore Bench: Puig, Utley, Toles, Kike, Barnes, Farmer
