“i know it was you corey. you broke my heart...”
John Cazale..what an actor.
He was in 5 films, all nominated for Academy Awards.
Talk about gone to early.
In the Deer Hunter, the movie studio didn’t want to hire Cazale because by that time he was wracked by cancer, and the studio was afraid he would pass away before shooting ended.
Robert DeNiro personally paid for the completion bond on the movie so that Cazale could be in the movie.
I don’t think he lived long enough to see the final movie.
Dodgers better win tonight. Fuck the Gnats, and fuck Bumdramaqueeen. We lose this one, it will feel like we were swept.
Engaged to Meryl Sytreep, too. Tremendous loss for all of us.
Another guy who I loved and sought out his films was Philip Seymour Hoffman...gone way too soon, also. But it was his choice to put that shit in his veins.
Cazale just had bad luck.
Cazale had that skill to command your focus when he wasn't the speaker or the main character. And he wasn't grandstanding - he was just in the moment. Great artist, and from what I have read, loved and respected as a decent man, too.
Nice to see Turner put one in the seats. Hopefully the start of something substantial in the power category and not the occasional sort of HR Adrian would run into his last year or so
just heard pollock to have surgery
no timetable for return
may be done for the season
Nah, Dave Roberts is the manager.
Addition by subtraction?
I still have no idea why the FO would even think he would play enough to actually contribute to this team.
I'm stunned. Wow. Mr. Iron Man himself. No way did anybody anticipate he'd be hurt.
& Fuck Friedman's cheap ass
The Pollock injury is a hoax, here is actual footage of Pollock and the reason he is "injured"
Taylor hitting ahead of Verdugo. Okay, Dave. Okay.
Ryu looking like fermented batting practice.
Must unwatchable 20-12 team of all time
What's the batting coach twins names again?
Rosencrantz and Gildenstern ?
Wow...after Madscum throws his perfect game, the Pads will be high as kites against us...
at least Verdugo made the lineup
Seagers swing looks so weird. like his top hand is way out in front of everything.
It amazes me that they have 1 hour of pregame and post game content on SNLA and nobody can break down the mechanics of players who are struggling? Or even address the fact that they're struggling?
This does not look like rust to me. This looks mechanical, physical, and health related.
The follow through on these swings look so strange. Feeble, even.
And results wise, he can barely hit the ball to the warning track. anything to the opposite field might as well be an auto-out.
Separate names with a comma.
