2 more days until the cuban is allegedly ours. we need another reliable pen arm. lol marmol and league. withrow is shaky. jansen belli are the only spots that are determined. paco and howell are at the moment LLLOGY. but thats it, there needs to be a 7th inning guy. they're supposed to send some scouts to look at brian wilson and see if he still has it. the trade market for a pen arm is pretty bad.
http://arizonasports.com/42/1650856/Dbacks-GM-Dodgers-can-buy-what-they-want Hahah, true...and bitter much? Best part of the article: "That is true, though it's worth noting the Dodgers roster is not entirely made up of All-Stars, so there is still work that can be done."
@jaysonst: Your scout lineup for Jake Peavy's start today: Red Sox, Cardinals, Dodgers, Braves, O's, Reds & Rangers have 2. #youmaynowjumptoconclusions
He's just hating on the fact that his mediocre team got lucky and took advantage of a struggling Dodgers squad. Now that we're playing to our potential and he has trouble beating the Cubs, he's complaining.
For anyone looking for an update on Guerrero, I asked Jesse Sanchez this and got a response... @JesseSanchezMLB any word on how Guerrero's audition went yesterday? Hear Guerrero showcase went well, @The_UnReal_Matt. Interest from teams, including #Dodgers (faves). Might not be cleared by OFAC for 2 wks.
According to ESPN's Jayson Stark, the Red Sox, Cardinals, Dodgers, Braves, Orioles, Reds and Rangers are scouting Jake Peavy's start Thursday vs. Detroit. I would love to have Peavy for the right price.
