Can Justin Morneau go back to being an everyday 1st baseman again? I know he DHs when he doesn't play first. A trade with the Twins doesn't have to wait until the trade deadline with the Twins being one of the worst teams there is. They are already out of it. Morneau has had concussion issues but it looks like he's getting over that.

I said this a while ago: He's not Loney. That's enough to get me on the bandwagon.

so far in 2012...it looks like he's 50% 1B/DH. Obviously he'd have to be our fulltime 1B...and it would be easy enough to give him time off. Loney can back him up and so can SVS, Sands, and Rivera. I think this is the trade that MUST be made ASAP.

If the Dodgers get Justin Morneau in a trade Loney needs to be part of the package going back to the Twins in order to make this trade happen. Not sure if they'd take him but I don't want Loney even as a back up. SVS is good enough. Let's be through with the Loney era once and for all.

We don't have to make a deal at the deadline. If Kasten is as smart as he's prised to be, he would do something right now in the wake of Matty going down.

OH, believe me...you know me by now...I'd throw Loney in the deal and pay his salary if that's what it would take...I just don't imagine anyone MIN wanting him...A-he sucks, B-he's a FA to be.

I was just being realistic...if he's not in the trade...he will be DBB's go to guy as a back up.

Loney is useless offensively. Sick of people like Kevin Kennedy sticking up for this POS. Lyons knows Loney sucks which is why I like him.

Well you know I agree...but the reason people defend him is because he has 1-2 months every season that he is actually damn good at the plate. So he shows people that he actually can hit for extended periods of time when he's right. It's just a strange mystery why he absolutely cannot capture that into some kind of constant.

funny thing is I listen to all the games on XM radio while I work and if you don't know, XM feeds are always from the home team. So all Dodger road games I have to listen to the other teams announcers. Almost every one of them think he is an very good hitter. Year after year...it hasn't stopped. You should hear how wacko they get when DBB pinch hits for Loney. They all think he's a retard or something. One guy suggested that Loney must be hurt one game.

That gives me some hope that maybe Ned could trade him pretty easily if the rest of the baseballl world think Loney can still hit.

I was cautiously optimistic going in to the season. I thought he was on such a HUGE HOT STREAK that it HAD to be a fundamental discovery. Something that he FIXED. Oh so wrong. His pathetic pop ups and rollers are here to stay. GTFO James. Go get AIDS.

James and bills are fucking anomalies. They can have brilliance, but when they suck, they fucking suck.
