    How do you guys feel about when pitchers quick pitch hitters? I know some people think it's bush league, but I'm perfectly fine with it

    I understand the whole unwritten rules thing, which I care about, but I don't think this fits in that category

    Mattingly and a lot of people on this board need to stop pampering Joc, he needs to be hitting higher in the order.

    meh, I definitely don't think we need to rush him into anything yet, especially considering we've been fine as is constructed. especially not the 5 hole, the 2 hole, maybe.

    Then put him in two hole, right in front of Gonzalez, he's been too effective at getting on base to be walking back to the dugout as the pitcher and/or Rollins end the inning with him on base. He'd see way more pitches to hit, which should help him.

    It's simple, if they are in the batter's box and not ready, then that is the hitter's problem.
