    Superb turn by Ferris, obviously. As he has done multiple times before, I thought it was going to be brilliance for a while, then a melt down inning or two. The table was set that way, but DPs saved it.
    It's true that " it was only the Padres " doesn't apply anymore. They're tough to go through now, and 15 Ks is quite an accomplishment.
    Go Ferris.
    Loved the shot of the kid with " Ferris"on the back of his jersey.

    Yes, he is really turning himself into a fringe player.
    Also.odd how when the info from Brainiac Dave initially was " we wanted to give Joc a runway playing 1b to see if we could field an optimum lineup. "
    Then it failed like a lead balloon, and now it was " Joc's idea--- he came to us"...sounds like some kids who got caught at some devious venture in grammar school trying to blame the other one.
