    Even my uncle who barely watches baseball commented on how big of an assshole that guy was being. I wasn't watching but he said that both Steve Garvey and Jose Mota looked like they wanted to shoot him.

    Imagine Jonathan Broxton and Matt Stairs eating together 20 years from now. Might have to be a buffet though.

    Dennis Eckersley has always been an awesome dude and has had a great sense of humor about 1988. He feels blessed just to have been a part of that moment in history which is pretty cool.

    It's also nice to see Gibson embracing his time as a Dodger lately and generally enjoying life. In one of the 1988 documentaries, Kirk talked about how his shrink made him go to the grocery store and ask the cashier how she was doing as a HW assignment. He said it was one of the most difficult things he ever had to do. Just such an intense guy even off the field.

    Eck is just all sorts of cool
    Never a bitter word and just glad to be alive having a great life
    That hour long they run on the series is pretty amazing and you really feel for how they left him alone out there
    The whole team just bailed on him and he was standing alone on the middle of the field
