What is the strategy of batting your relief pitcher in the 10th inning when the other team has the heart of the order coming? Is the strategy of trying not to run out of batters optimized by making sure you lose in the 10th instead of the 15th? Because not throwing some power hitter on the bench and asking him to swing away for a homerun or to get on base and hope your next guy can get the RBI is really playing not to lose instead of playing to win. The spirit of Donnie Baseball lives on.

And, that’s the huge problem when you have a fucking infielder who’s your best center fielder (DEPTH!). The winning run tags up and your throw is 20 feet offline.
I almost think the team would overall be better off if Puig was moved to CF. His cannon in RF be damned. We need him more in CF so Taylor can go back to the IF. Between he and Logan the defense should be fine inside. That allows room for Toles in the starting lineup in RF.
