San Diego is NEVER EVER going to be a major market anything. The weather there and the culture there pacifies people. Plus, they have that "little brother" mentality. They are similar to Dicky Eklund. He fought well enough to face Sugar Ray but he knocked him down with a push, not a punch. LoCal beat LA last year in the playoffs and that'll serve as their WS for what that's worth. They still lost the next series and are 0-for-forever as a city in all major sports. And I don't care about them near as much as I want to see Frisco slide into the Pacific ...
It pains me to type this out, but SD beat us in the playoffs two years ago. Arizona beat us last year. Yeah, it's that bad. Hoping SF is nowhere near the playoffs because that trifecta would probably finish me off.
Betts SS Ohtani 1B Freeman DH Smith C Muncy 3B T Hernández LF Pages 2B Lux RF Outman CF not a kiké, taylor or barnes in sight…
Same 9 position players as yesterday, although Muncy and Teoscar are flip-flopped, and so are Pages and Lux. Max has 3 HRs and a 1.333 OPS in 24 career ABs against Webb - hope he adds to that. Outman is 4 for 8 - he really needs to have a good game. Right now he's probably odd man out when Heyward returns.
Yeah, sadly James probably is odd man out. Evidently they figured him out big time. And they might have figured Pages out to some degree, too. Damn, baseball's cruel.
He rebounded from a slump a year ago as a rookie. He'll figure it out. Might have to do it in OKC, though.
he's pitching like complete fucking shit too. getting every break under the sun. Teoscar's ball staying in the park was comical. then muncy and teoscar shit the bed with the bases loaded.
Wasn't a bad game at all for Hernandez. Awind- blown HR and a bad pitch to Ramosand no support at all. Not bad at all.
