Wolves letting it be known here @ the start of the 3rd So Ingram did not grow this summer, still just a little over 6'9"..Trudell blowing smoke Kuzma with the left hand running hook..my goodness.
Lot of positives to take away from that game. Kuzma has such a sweet offensive game and has a nice first step out of the triple threat...caught Minn by surprise a couple of times. I also loved Thomas Bryant's energy off the bench. Effort defensively was def improved from last year. They were hustling their ass off. I remember D'Angelo putting his head down so many times when he turned the ball over. Lonzo would sprint after it and got a few steals.
Kuzma coming into a great situation, with Nance/Julius/Deng there to work with and against everyday, getting that competition. On the downside there, though, I´m sure there´s going to be plenty of times this season when Nance pisses me off with his shitty offensive game..just knowing Kuzma is on the bench. Lol Wouldn´t it be something if the 27th overall pick were the best to come from all the tanking and losing? Yeah, D´angelo with all that slacker shit was annoying, especially his lazy passes that got deflected so damn much..and then how hard it was for him just to bring the ball up the damn court. Obviously, he had his positives, but his game was in slow motion compared to Zo. D´angeSlow. Zo was working pretty hard down in the post on defense too, but Muhammad was just too strong.
I agree with Luke...the team needs better conditioning. I think that's why most of the 3's were bricks and the defense looked a little shitty in the 2nd and 3rd quarters. Thought Kuz looked great on both sides of the ball. Thought Ball looked pretty good. Some bad plays, but lots of good one's too. His defense was better than I expected. Not sure about Ingram, for a minute there I thought he was looking unstoppable with a sweet stroke from 3, then he got tired and started missing everything. Randle had good stats, but he looked like a ball stopper. Kind reminded me of Carmelo Anthony. Not sure he's got a future with a team that wants to move the ball around and play unselfishly. I thought zubac looked pretty good, but he got tired too. ...and too much fouling on defense.
I'm just hoping he sustains this level of play to not even make than an issue. KCP's offense was offensive...
KCP is super-streaky, but his defense and activity is always there, so I´ll take it. He should´ve dunked that one early breakaway tho Rotations will be interesting to see, with so many options..Luke could literally play everybody that suits up They need to get Deng outta here somehow
Kcp will be ok though. There is a lot of talent on the team. Even if next year we only bring in Lebron and no other star players and just surround him with all these kids and a few key vets you have something. Lonzo Clarkson Ennis KCP Ingram Hart Lebron Ingram Randle Nance Kuzma Lopez Bogut Zubac It would be great for Lebrons story to go against the grain here. Instead of teaming up with 2 other prime superstars how bout winning a ring with only himsekf as the star and a bevy of good players around him. Lopez can come back for cheap. If not flip him and clarkson plus randle for cousins. Team has many options.
Kuzma has a little swagger too, confidence is pretty high. Took Towns off the dribble, turned and gave him a little look like " nothin major " Preseason game #2 tonight VS Denver, also picked up by NBATV
Yeah I'd like to see that myself Lakers could use some testicular swagger and not this Swaggy P nonsense either
http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/20849806/zach-lowe-2017-18-nba-league-pass-rankings-part-1 ... Teammates will love Ball's unselfish game, and play harder because of it. Corey Brewer sprints so hard in transition, you almost fear for his safety. When he uses the rim to stop his momentum after a run-out dunk, he's flying so fast, he ends up hanging parallel to the ground with his feet under the backboard. It's scary. Lol It's true. He struggles with his shot, but Brewer needs to play with this group.
In all his years running teams, has Jordan ever drafted an all-star? Kemba Walker I guess, but he's not really good, just living on the eastern conference being light on PGs and good/great players in general. Probably being a little unfair to Kemba, but mini-shoot 1st/inefficient PGs aren't my cup of tea
8% gets the start at center tonight Zooo for the 3pt play, scary fall tho Zo playing some very good defense Zooo catching the alley oop
Ingram having his share of soft moments. Even when Luke tries to suppress Kuzmania, he cant All this talk about Clarkson being 6th man..Im starting to think 6th man Kuzmania has a better ring to it.
