I don't think he necessarily had to shrink into non-existence after fucking up with his wife. Just do better with his 2nd chance, which he's done. Guys fuck up, but the habitual fuck up artists are the guys to avoid. In other news it sounds like Boston's scapegoat Kyrie is lining up for LAL. Lonzo could be a pretty good backcourt partner for Kyrie in a Klay sort of way if he can stay healthy. Shit, if both can stay healthy. Lonzo can take all of the tough defensive assignments and make life easier on Kyrie night to night. Still prefer Kawhi, as most others probably do as well

Would be a talented duo, no doubt, but nothing promised beyond that. If Young were a wing I'd take that potential duo more seriously. As talented as Young is, he plays a position where it's going to be an uphill battle for a smaller, slight guy that can be taken advantage of on the defensive end. Ultimately, they'd both kneel to King Giannis, like everyone else that plays in the east from this year forward.
Brett Brown returning to Philly. Tough Philly job since Embiid and Simmons don't fit together. Would hate to be Elton Brand. The backlash of trading Embiid would be too great. And Simmons being their only durable star under contract makes it tough to deal him..even though Brand wanted to trade him at the deadline.
