https://www.silverscreenandroll.com...lebron-james-anthony-davis-staggering-lineups Frank Vogel wants to stagger LeBron James and Anthony Davis, says team won’t settle on rotation until everyone is healthy Health permitting, Lakers head coach Frank Vogel wants to keep one of LeBron James and Anthony Davis on the floor at all times. “Until we have a full roster of healthy players, we won’t settle into a regular rotation. We’ll have a rotation based on the guys that are available,” Vogel told reporters after practice last week. The one thing that will remain constant, health permitting, is the staggering of LeBron James and Anthony Davis. One of the biggest criticisms with the team’s former head coach, Luke Walton, was that he never staggered LeBron James and Brandon Ingram. That hasn’t been a problem with Vogel thus far, and he doesn’t plan on making it one when his team is at full strength. “It starts with common sense, and finding guys that naturally fit each other just based on their skillset. And throughout training camp you see guys play together and really develop chemistry,” Vogel said. Yup, AD probably going to lead the 2nd unit w/Kuz as his wing man. Kuz should be a great fit with AD's passing ability, we already know he's a great fit with LeBron. AD obviously likes to face up a lot in the mid-range on his iso touches, so Kuz should be able to duck in for easy buckets a bit. Bring Kuz off a screen and get him matched up with a smaller wing and it's easy money inside
Excited to see Kuzma play today. In other news, Steph Curry had surgery on his left hand. I guess the injury was a bit more severe than they hoped. Probably put pins in to stabilize the bone. Out at least 3 months and probably longer. Wow that dynasty crashed hard.
Really the best news GSW could've hoped for..for the tank, that is. They won't like it for their new arena Facing the Mavs on the road should provide a solid, early test for LAL. Mavs @ 3-1. ESPN game
Lol Is it Porzingis or Charles Smith? How many put backs can you blow on one possession? Dude came away with about 5 offensive rebounds there ala Moses Malone
Vogel tried to ride LeBron's hot hand and now the rotations are fucked Should've rested AD if he was gonna stay with LeBron, but I guess he's gonna ride young AD. LeBron ready to go to start the 4th? Or just stay with AD?
Why the fuck is Avery Bradley taking multi jumpshots down the stretch? Just play Caruso FFS. Bradley dribbling into contested long 2's. At least Caruso will put his head down and get to the basket Great shot by Green. Danny Green is the best pump fake 3 point shooter I've seen Lol
And how is Doncic allowed to play with a bleeding head? Blood is in his hair..if its on his uniform, he can't play or has to switch jerseys..but it's good in his hair? Fuck is goin on? Doncic Euro flop rejected by refs FOH
Dwight Howard with an NFL penalty like hold on the last shot, that's what those Dallas bums get for playing that play like that. Imagine being up 3, Lakers have no timeouts left, and Lebron drives to the rim with under 5 seconds left, it is a literal no brainer to give him a dunk and yet he is doubled and gets it to Green in the corner for the money shot. That that L Cuban.
Clever hold by Dwight, that's just big game experience at work..shit you'd never see from Javale - not nearly enough big game experience. At the end of the game like that, refs aren't looking to decide a game that way. You can get away with little shit like that..it's like players forgetting to do their damn job in huge moments, they get caught watching. Refs are looking at LeBron That guy deserves some blame for going to contest LeBron, no doubt, but Carlisle is shitty for that defensive possession as well. That's easy to draw up on the white board. You draw 5 X's around the 3 point line and tell those MFs that if they leave those marks for anything other than to contest a 3 pointer, they don't play next game
