    Well so much for PH... Gonzo, Dre, CC and Puig; three UGLY Ks and a can of corn.
    IMO, this "experiment" with Volquez was a stupid a move as can be thought of, and didn't need to be done. Obviously he was cut loose because he sucks, and the CO beatdown on him of the past is still evidently alive as well as a motherfucker. September for test flights of DFA'd pitchers is bogus.
    Resting players is cool, when done on a conservative, intelligent basis, but honestly, this game looked like a throwaway by DBB.
    I hope this experiment shit is over with.
    Better he gave Fife a start, to let the kid get some work. I sure ain't looking to see Marmol,Volquez or League in the playoffs. Nope.
    Not every dumpster dive Ned makes is going to fly Phoenix -like, even now with the "about fucking time" excellence we play with.
    Strange days, indeed.
    Any experiments in Cincinnati due, does anyone know?

    Volquez only gave up 3 earned runs and really it was 2 if AJ could block an easy ball in the dirt...which he can't.
    Marmol and all our "big guns" pretty much shit the bed tonight.

    The lineup and starting pitcher that was thrown out was a joke. Understand it's cool to rest guys when we have the division on lock, but home field advantage would be pretty sweet also.
