    that's because he hits in a power/RBI spot more times than not, being paid like a 30HR guy, and is really lookin like somewhat of a Votto-lite at the plate in that he's not cranking homers and mashing RBI-wise

    still, Ethier's done some good for his trade value. if they hold on to all 4 outfielders next year and wait for the best deal...MAYBE they'll agree to pay a third of Ethier's contract and package him with Pederson and land David Price at the 2015 deadline. Kershaw/Greinke/Price/Ryu/one of Nolasco, Onelki, Z.Lee, or Reed ( Urias on the way ). basically starting pitching for days and days lol

    BDK is almost fully on, and once we get those two plus NZ (after they recite a few "Hail Dre"s) the train will be bullet type.

    but really it's astonishing how well he's done in the 2nd half. Top hitter in MLB in the second half, real unnoticed. Him, Puig, Hanley carrying this shit... Maybe if Adrian gets some rest, and gets out of his second half slump (.720 OPS) then DAMN. Not that it already isn't amazing but still. You have a hitting Puig/Hanley/Ethier/Adrian and just gimme one of Crawford/Kemp to do some things.

    yeah, lol. One small theory I might have, MIGHT have, is that he is trying to get him a good amount of ABs when he starts to get a good feel on how he is going to hit this last month. He already has good data on his other players but maybe he wants MY to get more ABs as a Dodger to see if he can go on a lucky streak or if he notices anything he can bring to the table for October. Might be a sensible reason for it? Who knows

    and I mean, obviously we already have loads of data on Michael Young this year given he was a starter for Phillie but maybe he wants to see how he is as a spot starter or with a scene change.

    Because if he wasn't playing in that game, he be playing in a spring training game. He got hurt playing baseball. What's the difference? would he not dive in a spring training game? Is the WBC game played on cement? What's the difference?

    This lineup is pretty sickening...I would be mad if I payed to be there. I didn't so I'm happy. We'll still crush them...problem is, they might crush Volquez.
    The rockies scare me about 50% less without Cargo in the lineup though.
