I've read a lot of the articles saying Rodriguez "could be in the majors this year", but why would he be? We don't need him right now, there's no reason he should even sniff an MLB roster unless a few guys go down.

Even then. It's not necessarily a need. We have Lindblom/Beli/Jansen. Guerra/Elbert somewhat reliable. Grrr coming back. RDLR if available in the pen.
Tolleson tore up the minors and if could pitch like that here is a good BP arm.

Let Paco get seasoning in the minors for the rest of the year and see how we are next year with the BP

 

I understand what September call ups are. The point remains.
