Someone on the Reddit page said he sat next to the Dodgers dugout and heard the guys saying something along the lines of "Kersh did it again" multiple times during the game at inopportune times. He and everyone ran with this meaning that they were mad at him for the bad start, but I thought this could actually mean they picked up on something that he was doing, i.e. tipping. You can't fix tipping pitches during a game as you risk REALLY fucking up the pitcher. So the team probably did pick up on it too, just can't do shit about it until between games.
The numbers show that Ryu is a different pitcher with Martin like a 1 ERA or something and with Smith it is like 5. There are also rumblings that he does not like Smith's pitch calling which is not a surprise since as a rookie catcher, it is VERY hard to come up and have a perfect rapport with your pitchers. Sounds like some of the big leaguers have not been overly fond of him, but the guys he came up with in AAA and spent most of ST with fucking love him.
I've got it on my computer, but not gonna devote time or much concentration to it unless we come out guns blazing. Just have it on as I am working on a deal. I think we're done. I thought that this year was gonna be different with Bellinger and Seager, plus the way Pollock had looked the past few weeks, maybe his postseason issues were behind him.... NOPE. They look like the same scared pussies they've always been. We got to the World Series on the backs of our starters and guys like Freese, Hernandez, Forsythe, Turner, Taylor and Culberson going off. Nobody is going off, they just looked scared shitless.
If Sanchez gets through the order once or twice, we are in trouble. They will take what they can get from him and bring in Corbin or something
Damn, the way he stood there I thought maybe he got a lot of that. Could be a long game if that cutter is moving a bunch.
