In case anyone gives a shit...

    Game 3- 4:45 PM
    Game 4- 3:40 PM
    Game 5- 5:37 PM

    Game 5 won't be necessary.

Ryu gets lit, Dodgers lose 6-4
Dodgers get 1-hit on Monday, lose 1-0

Dodgers should sweep inferior teams just like the Yankees and Astros sweep inferior teams. But wait, those teams are elite. We are not even close to their level.

This Gerrit Cole bit of business. Of all the fucked up things that embodies being a LAD fan, this has gotta be a notable strike. So the guy is from SoCal..went to UCLA..well known stuff, but then you find out on the post game show that he was a Yankee super-fan as a youngster for some reason. Gotdamnit.

Meh, the next time a player’s childhood fandom comes into play, will be the first time. I’m more worried about the $250 mil deal the Yankees are ready to shell out, which will beat our 1 year offer.

How Pollack couldn't recognize the spin and location of the pitch he fanned on is beyond me. That pitch was never close to being a strike.

At least Seager put up a battle and it looked like Bellinger missed a hittable pitch (again).

The Bellinger AB that bugged the shit out of me was the one against Dolittle. You know he throws nothing but fastballs for the most part, yet you take a half assed, flat footed swing at strike three (another fastball). You should be adjusting off the fastball. He had no clue.

Next batter up was Muncy, who showed Bellinger how the big boys do it, hitting a bomb on the first pitch (another fastball).

Yeah, I wasn't even speaking to his free agency. We know how that is playing out..not to our favor.

Was just talking about the travesty of a prominent talent from SoCal preferring to root for the Yankees. When he talks, he does sound like a bright kid

Martinez just mind-fucking DR so hard at this point, no Vaseline.

Just don't let it be one of those occasions where Sanchez tosses a no-no

Makes a lot of sense to me...even if Nats lose, then Scherzer and the godlike Stras.
We have turned into K central anyway, showing minimal power, and getting nothing from the lineup strong men at all.
Seems pretty academic to me to start Sanchez. If the Dodgers are getting so distant from the batting approach that got them here all of a sudden now, what chance do we really have ? Just another post season excuse.
If Robots is getting his mind fucked over by a this, a pitching change, then what does it say ?
    Loser mentality.

It would be nice to go back to a time when I really admired and looked up to the players, enjoyed every game, and was only sad when my team lost, not pissed off.

I have Spectrum for the Dodgers channel but I never watch a pregame show, a postgame show, or any of the behind the scenes original content. Some of that is because it takes time, but it's mostly because I have found I don't even like the team. So why do I care if they win or lose? Can anyone recommend a good shrink?

Well, I don't know if he is mind fucked over this at all. Just responding to the post that he is...hard to know.
With his lineup quirks so prevalent anyway, who's to know ?
In a group that simply oozes spectacular underachievement, what does it matter ?

i hear you on this. Indeed.
To go back to that time and those feelings is a joyous period of life called being young.
One of the ugly parts of growing older, is that you lose that purity of heart.
    Much of it anyway.

roberts has been in over his head since day one
he didn't lead them to back-to-back ws, they led him
but when it was time to (help) get them over the top...
talent only gets you so far
doesn't necessarily take a lot, but you need a competent skipper behind the wheel
all too reminiscent of del harris with the lakers

TBH, does it really matter if Kershaw is tipping pitches when all he has going for the day is a 90 MPH fastball and an 88 MPH slider with no cut?
