    The EU is poison.
    People of britain have done a wonderful thing.

    Some in bonds, some in metals, some in commodities, some in real estate, some in cash. Too many people go too stock heavy in their 401(k)s.

    Somewhere between 80-90% of people (depending on your poll of choice) support more stringent background checks. All but 1 Republican senator voted against the vast majority of his or her constituency, with almost all of these same senators receiving campaign contributions from the NRA. But sure, mock the sit-in.

    Denying a constitutional right based on being put on a terror watch list--which involves no due process of law, no accountability and no transparancy, and no recourse for those placed on it makes a mockery of everything in the constitution those douchebags swore to uphold when they took their office. So yes, they deserve to be mocked.

    Those same democrats also voted down two bills that would have expanded background checks and delayed sales and allowed prevention of the sale if probable cause was found for those on terror watch lists. Crazy concept there, due process of law and all that. I wonder if you can find a poll that suggests what % of americans favor due process of law. I bet it's greater than 80-90% :)

    Their sit in isn't about background checks...it was about the feelz and captitalizing on people's fear and emotion.
    These hypocrites are acting against their constituency (as you put it) just as much as the other group of hypocrites they co-govern with.

    Both of those proposals were theater and you know that. Show me any poll that shows any majority is in favor of "Three days to prove if someone is a threat if not sell them an AR-15"

    It was their way of "saving face" to those who didn't dig even a little bit deeper.
