At Trump's announcement yesterday, it irked me ( not because I worship Don either) when some douche stood up, totally disregarding the fact that people are dying all over the world, and asked him how would he rate himself, one to ten, on the job he's doing on the virus. Douchebaggery rampant. Shit like this makes me nauseous as a caring American sometimes. The abject classlessness of the individuals who theoretically represent us to garner important info we all need to know at this time, is mind boggling.
Most likely the vast majority of infected are not tested. So the fatality rate will skew larger than it really is. Hopefully.
For the countries that has their shit together and tested in high volume, the fatality rate is between 2-3% total. But is it very much higher for those older than 60 and is hitting the 80 and over very very hard. So if you have an older friend or parents or grandparents, or you yourself is older, take care of yourself and those loved ones
