my daughter made bangers and mash tonight along w Irish cheese and soda bread w mom and her caregiver it was all my kids idea when she saw the bangers at trader joe's and she put the meal together a pint of Guinness sealed the deal although it will never taste as good poured in the motherland!
being in big groups of guys like that tilting a pint can be pretty intimidating its happened to me a few times seems pretty cool until they get a few in them and they start talking to you in that brogue you barely understood sober hard to tell wtf is going on and if they're sharing a laugh or humiliating you i've literally left prior to getting my fill cause i wasn't sure if i was in danger or not lol and Scots are the size of fucking trees!

i have know about acupuncture since being introduced to the great Nobouki Fukinbara in LA 30 years ago my local Korean practitioner isn't in the same class but he knows his trade very well i feared i had torn my tendon in my left shoulder and would need surgery since it was bothering me for months and not healing Dr. Cho fixed me in 15 minutes more or less first needle sent my shoulder into spasm and felt like a hot iron was stuffed into the tendon after 10 minutes he removes the 10 or so that are in my head to my foot and manipulates my arm i tell him i still feel it from a standing position but its much better and he twists my arm putting it over his shoulder and sticks another needle deep omg these men are truly witches and tonight it feels like i got a shot but have a new arm on my body if you have something deep and chronic i highly recommend finding an older Asian practitioner nothing fancy just needles and pins and pain but oh the gain
not from the new age purveyors of wellness though i'm sure there are some that can provide relief but the old Asian guys (racist) are the ones i look for relatively inexpensive most of the time as well (Cho is $55) although you may find yourself in a backroom of his house hard for them to maintain storefront and they may advise additional herbs (not sure if those do anything)
