Fayweather is a coward but he's a coward with vastly superior boxing skills

Of course boxing itself has become a farce so
that explains why fans left in droves

Letting fighter determine their own next fight
is a rigged game
for 1000 reasons

Let's hope that Dana White figures that one out
before the UFC is also corrupted
more than it is of course

 

The UFC is completely fucking up by letting Conor McGregor call his own fights in whatever weight category he wants
Jose Aldo was one hell of a champion
and a fluke 13 second lucky punch KO ruined his life
mostly because Dana won't force Conor to give him a legit rematch

I really don't care about the McGregor hype machine

Fans want to see champs face #1's
Fighters generally want the same
for the love of the sport

Dana appears to want money and nothing but money
the lust of which will ruin the gig

Which is only helping Bellator and WSOF

I too enjoy MeGregor, a hell of a fighter and perhaps an even better self promoter

There may be better fighters but he's the cream of the crop at self promotion
entirely self contained

Rousey needed to be nursed along
McGregor shows up fully engaged and capable of carrying any show he's in

Still it's about the sport
And Aldo deserved a rematch

Note: the UFC site lists McGregor as Featherweight champ.. and then it doesn't list him as a featherweight fighter and at the same time it now lists him as the Lightweight champ

Come on Dana, pick one... which is it?

The UFC org is looking too much like amateur hour many times
because Dana's eye is off the ball
while he focuses on lining his pockets

because deep down McGregor is a better promoter than Dana White

and Dana knows it

 

McGregor Aldo II would be a great fight and would still draw a huge audience imo
