Yeah, that very well may be the sad truth...and if it isn't then lucky for us. But the worm has turned in recent history with SD for sure. Yesterday's game made me simply look away. I was definitely not sure about this staff as I previously posted, and unfortunately, it's showing up like a blooming rash. As failure follows failure, year after year under Roberts, less and less teams are afraid of the big bad Blue. They hit better or at least equally, fight harder, and more and more shut down the " MVP" offense to a level that can be easily overcome given our dead spots lineup and mediocre staff. Very early, so not prophetic at all , but this may be the year where we have to take advantage of the "participation trophy" type NBA type playoff format and make the grade that way. Winning the division handily and repeatedly sure hasn't worked... right Davey boy ?
Hate the Sunday night telecasts. Ravich on stat overload and Perez fixated on shoes and "swag," whatever the fuck that is.
