Thanks, I just hate how the media uses immigrants and the border to get conservatives riled up.
We are ideological brethren divided by a border that's never been effective or respected but is always like sand in a vagina politically.
When it is something we should have already agreed upon and joined forces.
Shit the republicans and democrats might have to get on the same page if its WW3 time.
Then if the border truly is a problem we can have tanks line up and make it a DMZ.

Most politicians that talk about the border don't really care about it other than politically.
Of course the border is a problem but its the least of our problems.
It is just red meat that will feed our animal instincts.
I know its a pillar of the party to talk about the border and about illegals.
It gets them a huge free pop.
Ok, maybe you stunt a few times during election season.
But that pop is not free, it comes at a huge cost.
You make it a miracle for a hispanic to leave the democrats even if they wanted to in their heart.
Conservative hispanics have to be closet republicans because its almost immoral for us to support the 'enemy of our people'.

After whatever happens in Ukraine we will have a new world order.

I knew something was fishy when the government shut down Americas Army.
Which was basically a training simulator for being a soldier that had been running for like 20 years as a free game.
It got shut down very recently out of the blue.
The media keeps telling us that Putin is acting out of character. The is always logical and rational.
Like if they want us to believe that this was a completely shock and surprise for our government.

Because we are still importing Russian energy.

Russian oil is super tarry like Canadian oil. It can't be refined in normal refineries because it would ruin them.
And it cant even be refined anywhere with environmental laws because of how polluting it is.

You know who wins from gasoline being sky high?
Folks that want truckers and protestors to be off the roads.
Its going to make protesting prohibitively expensive.
Everywhere but specially in the northern areas where power generally sits.
Because we all have to be on the same side now.
So you can't be fighting the truckers and the anti vaxxers and the cops and the unions and the etc...
If we at total war everyone in the same gang.
So those not wanted in the gang have to be slow rolled by making gasoline a luxury product.
If energy goes to $6 a gallon then lots of basics will become luxuries.

What if the Biden plan of giving this a month to see what happens... happens?
What about the people of Ukraine that can't get out of the country?
The president has made it illegal for males of 14 to 60 years of age to leave the country.
NGOs are setting up tent camps for them.
The president says they have to stay just in case the country needs to conscript them for forced military service.
Not right now, but in case this goes long and they run out of fighters.
Guns are coming in from everywhere and the local PD's are giving out AK's and RPG's to the paper route boys and drunk grandpas.
But also people who want to be thugs are getting them and settling scores against hated groups.
Its kind of fucked up.

Imagine reports coming in of Putin sending nukes to military bases in SD and LA and people are trying to drive their family to Mexico and the government stops you and threatens to shoot you if you storm the border gates?

I saw a video of college students trying to get into Poland but being denied at gunpoint by the Ukraine military there.
Some were clearly foreigners in Ukraine for school or visiting. Some were black/african.
Another video has mortars landing in the street and a driver swerving away from them.
Its a cool video, but the driver has a badge from the neo nazi group hanging from his rearview mirror.
That was kinda unsettling because this is supposed to be the side of the democracy.
The group is very popular and is essentially a special forces group of white nationalist from all over the world.
Including many Russians and Americans. They are the Ukrainian men in black, their backwater but now officially part of the government.
Even though they are nazis and the president of the country is a Jew there may be common ground. Ukrainian Nationalism.
They believe that since Kyiv was a big deal in Viking history before Moscow was and that since Russian language was established in Ukraine before it was in Russia and that they are the true modern heirs to the horse people of the land.
That the Russians are actually untermensch who have been too corrupted with asian mongol blood and not the uber more eurolike Ukrainians who are the noble ubermen of the rus.

And then I see Putins soldiers are 80% conscripts who were either used this way because Putin was bluffing to see if he could bully his way to a quick win like in Crimea. Or he sent an invasion of hapless pawns to sap and sabotage and lock down key zones before the invasion begins in earnest with Russias regulars and Putins elites.
These brigades he sent are like sending paper tanks with tin soldiers in them hoping nobody would seriously try to knock them down and they could march straight down mainstreet like if it was a parade.
I think this second option is more likely the truth.
That the invasion has not truly begun and that is why Putin is calling these mere operational exercises. It jives with the reports of captured soldiers who didnt even know they were in a war. Bunch of kids saying they were on a training mission when all of a sudden their trucks get redirected and now they are part of a huge convoy of trucks with very few commanding officers and none that would talk.
Because I havent seen any Russian flags raised anywhere.
Which means they barely setting up shop for the mains to show up with their red white and blue.

I wonder if Taiwan is gonna be Pearl Harbor.

If you set up camps and shoot those who flee then what's the diff?

Day 5: Zelenski give orders that convicts be set free and given military weapons no questions asked.
Day 6: Crime wave out of the blue by criminals in possession of military weapons looting stores and homes at gunpoint.
Day 7: Zelenski orders looters to be killed on sight, no questions asked.

So far the Russians are fighting like they dont want to hurt people.
For the most part, there are always crazy russians in the miliatry to blow shit up and kill.
They opened up a highway for people who wish to flee into Belarus.
Of course Belarus is Russia jr and having citizens flee Ukraine is one less possible ukranian soldier later on.
But compare that to the Ukranians who have children and grandmas making dangerous explosives.
Untrained civilians being sent to the front lines as what... human shields for the govenment/military?
If war breaks out here you really gonna ask your mom or your wife to get down like that?
Put a gun to the heads of college kids who want to flee like Russian generals used to do to deserters?
Is it cool to hype up middle schoolers so that they want to carry an AK into battle for love of coutnry?
Arent these values antithetical to ours?
Don't we recoil when we see southern people do this with their kids in Africa and the Middle East?
We will find all sorts of reasons why that is wrong.
Just like we will rapidly think it heroic when 'we' do it.
Even if the 'we' is not really we.

Ukraine is a government still in quicksand while the UK was the worlds greatest empire.
London was being firebombed, Kyiv not at all.
Russians have yet to bomb the way any invading country bombs.
The way we bomb.

And i doubt they gave her a rifle and sent her to fight head to head with armed highly trained soldiers.
If im wrong correct me, but even then... you cant compare what we have witnessed so far to what your mom had to live through.

If it was a natural disaster like Katrina nobody would be thinking hey we better let the prisoners out of jail so they can help protect us from the storm?

Which proves that sometimes groups of people can get a little sick in the head and lose their marbles during a time of panic.

During trying times people start eating babies.
Moms start eating their own babies or selling/buying others to be eaten.

But if you and I and all of us dont feel the panic then they can't react like they want to react and take away peoples liberties.

I have not been on the computer at all today so I do not know any news today. Maybe the russians bombed and i dont know.
But as of last night I saw no Russians slaughtering people.
I see the Russians being very restrained even when people come up to them with morbid comments about them being dead in the future and flowers raising from their corpses.
I see them lined up talking to Ukrainians and hoking around that their tanks ran out of gas.
The tanks didn't run out of bullets or targets to kill. So why are they there?

But look at the reaction of the government.
Arming women and children and sending them to fight in the front?
We call that cowardice when the muslims do things like that.
Ukraine doing this shit on day 1.
I dont know but it almost looks like a setup.
Empty the jails and give the criminals guns?

You think all the russian gangsters and political dissidents are all gonna be yeah fuck russia just because ukraine let them out to send them as cannon fodder?
They gonna turn around and assault rob rape and kill ukrainians for money so they can get drugs or a car or a means of escaping the war.

And now look we get to see CNN tell the world that plainclothes russians are killing ukrainians all of a sudden and so NATO must put pressures and help the government of Ukraine more.
Of course there is mayhem in the streeets, you just let out all the jokers gang and other inmates out of arkham when there is no police to capture them because we are in the middle of a war where people can get away with shooting and killing because shots are everywhere.

ive seen a some dead people, but not en masse
and the media reporting only a hundred or so dead ukrainians

why they want all the people there?
