Oh man I would've lost my mind if that happened to us.

Got lucky leaving Vargas in too long and doing the stupid "save our best reliever for when we're up by a run because we're on the road" rule.

Having that guy steal the base just so they could intentionally walk their MVP was questionable too.

He took Vargas out at the perfect time.

Took a crazy play and weaving in and out of trouble to keep it 2-2.

Maybe I'm not a real baseball fan. This game bored the heck out of me. I'm not entertained by the Royals and don't appreciate what they do. "Omg, bullpen is sick and the defense is gnarly!". BORING! Baseball was better with roids Imo and it's more entertaining with teams like the Yankees and narrative driven stars. As a TV show, it's not as good as 10 years ago.

The speculation and talk shows are more entertaining than some of these games. I think the pace of play and bad announcing just makes some games a drag.

If it isn't the Dodgers I get bored instantly though so yeah.

Maybe it's the AL I can't stand to watch because I thoroughly enjoy watching a good Washington - STL series. Or any other NL match up.

I don't know anybody from the AL outside of the stars.

On the same token, that's what makes the World Series so special. It would be sweet to match up against the Orioles and get a taste of a whole new environment and go against a of players we haven't seen much.

It's because the Orioles and Royals are in it. They came out of nowhere. At least the Royals did, and the Orioles lost all their stars to injury or suspension.

I get the feeling the Orioles and Royals are going to make the ALCS, with the Orioles going to the World Series.

Tigers bullpen is going to kill them, and the Angels outside of Weaver are dead when it comes to pitching. Their hitting can't save them, and the Royals are excellent defensively.

Orioles have had a good team for a few years. They really haven't come from nowhere.

Last night's game was pretty bleak, but Royals-A's was as entertaining as it gets with KC constantly coming back and doing it because of their speed. It is pretty annoying to put the same game in the night time slot back to back nights though.....especially when you have Kershaw vs Wainwright. Two titans. Fuck that

i give SF a chance to win this series against the Nats and it mostly has to do with me not buying all the Nats-hype. Nats just barely started getting over their struggles with the bummy Braves. i think Hudson can get 1 game..he's had success against that lineup..and Bumgarner can get another. all up to Peavy today, imo.

Would it kill one ump to have a solid strike zone? I know it's easy to sit around and nitpick, but holy shit, it gets worse every game/year

Nats are fucked once they get to 2 wins in the series. Giants are unbeatable facing elimination

Tigers put a plug on that bullpen issue with Sanchez
