This getting called out on strikes is getting old. These guys are taking close pitches and getting fucked...but one of the 1st things learned in baseball is to not take anything close with 2 strikes.
But really, he has been fine outside of some command issues. Only got hit semi hard once so his stuff looks good, just command is a bit off but he looks good
Not as dominant as he was in his last 8 starts of last season, but pretty good. Can only imagine the pitch consistency will get better as time goes.
Goldstein and Law are also both unbelievably obnoxious, which seems like a common theme for the best baseball writers for whatever reason. Probably a high percentage of high school bullying. Law has a fun habit of bitching about the most minor politically incorrect things before ripping into random fans for spelling mistakes or other trivia. Blatant napoleon complex, fuck him.
