I'm not hating on Kemp because I don't think he cares, I'm hating on him because he doesn't have a clear approach at the plate and swings at bad pitches.

Did you miss the part about him donating 250K and this was on top of that?

So he did come darn close to that goal. So does he say that's as good as it gets or does he work hard to get even better with loftier goals instead of playing on his past season?
If we remember we recall the hard work after the 2011 season and the awesome start to his 2012 season. Does anyone have a decent memory and recall how well he was playing and hitting before he first pulled the hamstring and than crashed into the wall in Pittsburg? Yeah sure let him heal with us and return to form elsewhere and we will all be dancing with joy. Or better yet let him become more low key and just take the 21 million a year and not really want to be the player he was. After all he will make more this year than most of us will in a lifetime so he can chill about it all any time he wants. Do we really want him to? I posted a thread in the general baseball forum that I am pretty sure I saw Jose Reyes boarding a plane to leave Aruba yesterday. He has been hurt and his real deal Facebook page seems to have had him in Caribbean recuperating. Is this really the way we want injured players to handle their injuries along with fans and the press? Yes Matt convince us your shoulder problems are legit, go on the DL and rehab with friends and your homies like others have done.

If Kemp had started the season on the DL and made sure he put the best foot forward what would we be saying about him now?

This sentence will force Ned to trade Kemp TB.

Good. Hope we can get a reliever for him but I doubt it.

Be careful what you wish for you may get it. If you want unhappiness then the best of luck to you in finding it. If you want joy then the best of luck to you in finding it. So if Kemp gets traded you will be happy and if he lands on his feet as other Dodger cast aways have done then those who follow those players will be happy so it could be a win win situation. Thus it is with life and our many pursuits in it.

I'm a Dodger fan, not a Kemp fan. Kemp is hurting my team with his ineptitude in the field and mental retardation at the plate. His attitude off the field isn't helping either. I see the Gonzalez comparisons all the time, how about we compare statlines post shoulder surgery? A full 100 OPS separation. Be a mark of the team, not the man. Fuck this puto until he earns his paycheck and stops costing us games.

Unfortunately this teams problems run much deeper than this bumbling idiot Kemp, but fuck it, he's a huge cog in the fucking sucking machine.

A tad upset you appear. I hope this is just a forum thing and not a real life annoyance.

If they want to win this season he can't be playing on an every day basis, and especially batting 3rd or 4th. I understand he needs reps, but he can play against LHP and bat 6th until he can make a contribution. We have to start worrying about falling too far behind and not Kemp's feelings.

He doesnt even look like a viable big leaguer anymore. No exaggeration.

Yup. Sadly, Kemp may fall further because, well, he's not smart. He has too much pride. But he needs to be benched for certain games. He's not helping the team. Even today, when we're playing well, he kills momentum. It sucks, but until he can get over whatever it is that's wrong with him, he needs to ride the pine.

Maybe you phantom DL him in the coming days to give him some time to heal along with clearing his head. I thought initially he'd have no power the first half of the season but he doesn't look any closer to finding it than he did when the season started. Give him 10 days off then let him play for a few days in the minors and see where he's at.

I think before Kemp becomes a good hitter again, you have to knock him down some to get over his pride.

Just imagine if McCourt still owned the Dodgers how truly fucked we would be right now. There'd be no Agon, Crawford, or Punto. Hell, there wouldn't be HanRam to look forward to either.

Sucks that the kid from Frisco that Matt gave his uniform too was there today to see Kemp K 4 times. Man, that would've been a nice game for Matty to at least get a couple singles or something. This is going so badly.

^ At least he got to see a win. I'm sure he cares more that the Dodgers won than what Kemp did.
