i think it's about his approach
    not [just] the results
a lot of times guys didn't look like they had an idea at the plate
i.e. pulling ground balls instead of hitting to right and moving a runner at 2b over
seemed like everybody was up there for themselves rather than [having] a team concept
since we're not in the dugout/clubhouse, maybe that hitting edict [or lack thereof] came from dbb...
either way, it's mac's flawed approach and he needs to go, or he was doing what dbb believed in and [thus] he's fruit off the poisonous tree
and probably the reason all the coaches were [essentially] told to seek employment elsewhere

    Fuck it.

Give it to Wallach. They failed on the Scioscia's opportunity. Give the job to Wallach and start prepping AJ.

If they hire Klapler, Andrew will prove he's an idiot that knows NOTHING about baseball.

    • Mark Saxon of ESPN Los Angeles tweets that he’s hearing Mets bench coach Bob Geren will be in the mix for the Dodgers’ opening. Geren, 54, managed the Athletics from 2007-11, so Dodgers GM Farhan Zaidi is plenty familiar with him.

    There's your former MLB catcher.

You may be right. Latos was a brilliant acquisition among others.

in the big picture we were god awful hitting with RISP and had a too home run centric approach. There are many better.

    one thing for sure
there will be no shortage of candidates lining up for the job
that said... pretty sure they've already made they're choice, and would have already announced it if they didn't have to go through the [mandated] interview process

Kapler = a teammate of David Price's back in Price's 1st couple years in the league..would perhaps help sway Price our way ( along with the right amount of green of course)?

A lucky suitor w the right mix of youngsters is going to acquire one of the great teammates in MLB, @DAVIDprice14

@gabekapler thanks Kap!!! I'll give you a good [IMG] next time I see you!!!

@DAVIDprice14 Much love you you, Pricey!

#Rays fans, be excited about @DAVIDprice14 . His K% is higher & BB% is lower than 2013. 2.67 xFIP indicates an abnormal # of FBs for HRs.

@gabekapler haha thanks Kap!! That all looked German to me but since it's coming from YOU I know it's positive!!! #urtheman

Not fake tweets..the bromance is real. Kapler all in on those metrics as well as you can see.

I thought you guys would NEVER get around to asking me what I thought, but since you did...

If I was in charge, it would be Black, no questions asked.

Having said that, I know it will be Kapler, and here's why. Kapler likes the youth (no pedo), and youth is where this organization is headed. That's the game plan and Kapler will go with it.

As for the staff, I'd keep Lopes and Wallach (if he stays, which I wouldn't if I were him), and maybe Honeycutt. The rest can kiss my ass.

have a feeling it'll be kapler
and the more i hear about him, the less i hate it

i think the entire coaching staff will be gone, which is why they told them it was okay to look for employment elsewhere
wallach will go to washington, dbb to miami w/honeycutt, mcgwire/bundy/lopes (who knows)

good, his bromance with him can convince him to come to the Dodgers to be in the same organization and Kapler can keep the job he has.

Lopes will stay or retire. He said this was his ideal last stop. They better not just kick that kind of DODGER to the curb.

The FO needs to remember what the name on the front of the Jersey stands for or the fans will ask for their heads.
