    As he's been doing recently, Roberts leaned on Phillips against the top of the order. Now he's praying that whoever comes in next inning gets them in order, so then Krumble only has to face 7, 8, 9.

    This offense is amazing. Everyone's contributing. Even Gallo now. JT and CT come off the IL and immediately pay dividends. It's been said that CT always tries to play through pain. If that was the cause of his drop in productivity, and now he's well... look the fuck out! Especially if Muncy and Bellinger are rediscovering their grooves. And then the pitching. Maybe Pepiot wasn't fully ready for this, but the bullpen covered for him - 3.2 1-hit shutout innings. Then Krumbel came in and gave up a run - but only one. That's pretty good for him. [golf clap]

    I try to remind myself that the team is never as bad as it seems when they're in a prolonged slump and never as good as they seem during a hot streak. But when they're firing on all cylinders like this, it's hard to not like our chances.

    Aug. 10: 3B Max Muncy exits game with right hand contusion
    After a bad hop got him on the right hand, Muncy wasn’t able to take his next at-bat, leaving the game early against the Twins on Aug. 10. The good news is that X-rays were negative. Muncy has hit four homers in August. Manager Dave Roberts said they’ll see how Muncy feels when they begin a series against the Royals on Aug. 12.
