    Smith too. Not so much with power, but with consistency. That's a relief considering how he hit down the stretch last year.

    A little concerned about Shohei’s slow start but it’s early. He’s not really barreling the ball up well and his timing looks a little off. He’s behind pitches at like 95+.

    Good effort by Paxton working around the walks.

    Outman off to a slow start, but made solid contact a couple of times last night.

    Giant lineup is much improved over last year and they've got a great 1-2 punch at the top of rotation in Webb and Snell. Also have talented rookie LH Harrison and project Hicks who looked good against the Pads over the weekend. They're going to a pain in the ass.

    He's had past success at Dodger Stadium, but we have some guys who can get to him, most notably Muncy, hitting .364 over 22 ABs with 3 HRs. Betts and Freeman also have good numbers in 20+ ABs, as does Ohtani (albeit only 3 ABs -- 2 hits). Outman should also be starting. On the other hand, Heyward (0 for 6) and Lux (1 for 9) should get the night off, at least as starters. Interestingly Barnes has put up better numbers against him than Smith, but Will is hot right now and got rest just two games ago.
