Indeed. Last time I checked, that is one of the points of a public forum (or at the very least, an outgrowth) -- people comment on posts not directed towards them all the time. I criticized the content while you criticized me. No need to take it so personally, I wasn't making any judgements about you at that point.

Again -- and it must be difficult for you -- you don't seem to know how to differentiate between personal attacks and attacks on the content of a post.

 

HanRam was the right choice. Headley would have cost Lee and other top specs and would have been the only offensive upgrade the Dodgers could have done. Paying HanRam's whole contract allows the Dodgers to get another bat. It was the best option for the best player available at the best time.

I was having fun and in a good mood messing with my friends that I'll be hanging out with this friday, and then you come in and make a smart ass remark that was completely out of the blue and unnecessary and I didn't like it. I made the point that you are an annoying poster (my opinion of your posts, public forum and all). You then made a sarcastic comment about me...and it goes on from there.

There is no rules here Shaw, this isn't like PSD. I don't give a fuck about public forums, attacking my content- not me, personal attacks, whatever you're thinking. If you want to attack the contents of my posts, especially the harmless jokes with friends that again, have nothing to do with you then I'm going to attack you and your posts...whatever I can.

If you want to come across as intelligent or having any class at all, then yes differentiating between the two is important. One is impersonal, the other is personal. One is productive, the other isn't.

Even if there aren't a formal set of rules, the community still creates a set of norms.

 

I'm happy with Hanley. Headley would have been great, but he doesn't have the same swag. Could you imagine Headley coming in and doing shit like "I see you?" I don't think so. He's a bit of a bore, like the Padres.

I don't give two shits about how people percieve my intelligence here. I know how smart I am and I'm smart enough to be succesful in real life....so fuck it.
