I think they win the 2nd wild card, mostly cause I don’t think the Cards will win more than 1 game this weekend
We tie with Colorado, lose game 163, and then play as the second wild card. Lose to the Brewers, and then I get drunk trying to forget how close we were last year.
I doubt we catch Colorado. The Nationals have absolutely nothing to play for, and like the Phillies I don't see them offering much resistance. Giants on the other hand would love nothing more than to stick it to us and will be playing all three game like its a game 7. I think we'll win the 2nd wild card, but after that I don't see us going too far.
I genuinely hope the Cardinals get the other wild card and LA suffers the indignity of not even making the postseason. I know that constitutes some sort of heresy amongst many good people here, but actually I'm not being a jackass about it. I just have to say... This is the most disappointed I've ever been in the Dodger team, and that is quite a significant superlative coming from me. There have been Dodger teams with less talent than this by a long shot that didn't disappointment as much. The complacency and the grotesque indifference and meh mentality of some of these pendejos makes me want to walk out there on the field and take a bat to about half that roster.
